Consider the style of invitations that you are having to match your theme. Just in case you going to have to post an invitation overseas or if you have chosen to have your wedding on a public holiday or popular time of the year, it would be advisable to choose your invitations fairly soon.

Have a look around at the type of wedding transport that you would like and get prices & availability.

Make arrangements to visit Photographers and Videograpys to view their work and prepare to decide on making a booking with one .of each of them, fairly soon.

Think about beginning to prepare yourself, i.e. health and beauty wise, start a fitness program to help get you into shape if needed, start to prepare your body, hair, nails and skin.

Begin to think about where you would like to go for your honeymoon, it is always alot easier to prepare it earlier on and then to start paying it off so that you are not burdened with too many costs close to your wedding day.

As soon as you have set the Wedding Date

Arrange & Book your Church or Marriage Celebrant or Registry Office.

Decide on the type of Reception & Number of Guests you will be having, star to look at the menu from the reception place you have booked, or if having your wedding at home or elsewhere where you are required to hire a cater, tables, chairs, marquee etc, start thinking about menus and other things required now and book in ASAP! Ask your reception venue they offer a night where you can come and sample the food and wine, some will do it and some won't out those that will some will be complimentary and some you will have to pay for at a small cost.

If you have not yet decided on the Venue, make a booking and pay a Deposit ASAP!

If you have not already decided on the type of Wedding Gown and theme that you would like, now is the time to get cracking!! Think about the season that you are getting married in accordance with your theme that you have chosen or will decide on..

If going overseas for your honeymoon, check passports, visas and any immunizations required.

Start to draw up a draft of your guest list, look around at your wedding stationery options, call some stationery places and make a few appointments to have a look through their sample books to get an idea of what you would like as well as looking at what type of work they do.

Have a look around and investigate flowers, have a bouquet made up just for fun for the house just to see what type of work the florist does, make sure that you are clear with what colours and style that you like, look through their books or take your own pictures or drawings, not everyone sees the same colours and styles!!!!!.

Begin to look around at cakes, think about style you would like, what type of cake you would like, what shape, what theme you would like all these issues can be discussed with a cake designer, they would also have books that you can look through, or if you would like to design your own, draw up a picture and take it with you when you go.

Start to make appointments with your beautician for you skin preparation and routine so you can look your best on the day, book a trail for your hair with your hairdresser and find a make up artist or if you want to have everything done at home on the day, why not book someone who will come to the house and do both your hair and your make up, if you are getting the whole bridal party done, make sure that you give plenty of notice and time to book in for everyone.
