Seasonal Flowers - Autumn Ideas

A wild and romantic cascading bouquet of green and burgundy tinged Hydrangea, miniature pears, tiny pink Cecil Brunner roses and trails of silky Clematis seed heads

For a sleek and modern table display, base a monochromatic colour scheme around silver. Use a long and narrow container in matt pewter or charcoal and fill it with clumps of silvery materials – velvety Senico or Dusty Miller leaves, Tetragonia gumnuts, feathery Silver top Leucodendrons and Clematis seed heads

Bundles of chilli branches wrapped in lush green leaves make a strong statement – upright in a vase or laid down for place settings on a table. Add glossy Anthuriums in lipstick red for a contemporary bouquet

Two different looks for Easter place settings – little tin buckets piled with white Daisies in all shapes and sizes, or shot glasses filled with bright green moss and topped with a speckled Quail's egg or two.

Have a bouquet of round Dahlias in rich Autumn tones – purple, burgundy and deep, velvety red. Team them with stripey Canna leaves or tie with a chocolate brown velvet ribbon or a wide sash of bronze-toned organza

For a classic Autumn display surround fat beeswax candles with piles of mini pumpkins and plump rosehips

A long and low “pav`e” tablecentre – make a meandering pathway of highly textural Autumn materials – add deep purple and burgundy Carnation heads, clusters of rosehips, speckled brown Quail's eggs, bundles of green Privet and Hydrangeas to a base of lush green moss and tangling vines.

For the tragically romantic – a bouquet of deepest red Roses, dark and velvety Celosia and trails of “love-lies-bleeding” (Amaranthus)
