How to Pick the Perfect Florist!!

An important factor when working with anyone who is looking after your wedding flowers or anything in your wedding details is to make sure that you have a good relationship in communicating with one another, this way there will be no confusion and no mistakes in what you have asked for.

Here are a few questions that you may consider asking your Florist.

1) How much will everything cost, does the cost include delivery on the wedding day?

Does the cost include setting up flowers at your church and reception venue?

Will they deliver them to the church and reception venue or will you have to make those arrangements?

2) What happens if you the florist has an emergency on the day of your wedding or what if they are sick?

Who will do your flowers??

3) What happens if the flowers you have chosen are not available on the day?

4) Do you have more than 1 wedding per day? Have you ever over booked?

5) Is there a contract or written agreement to be signed?

6) Can you provide a written quotation or guarantee?

7) Can my flowers be preserved after the Wedding?

If so does the florist do it, if not do they know of someone who does?

If yes how much does it cost?

8) If using candles in your table displays ask your florist if they are aware of any restrictions or regulations regarding "open flames" in the table display.

It would also be a good idea to check with your reception venue as well to see what they allow.

9) Ask how long has the florist been in business and how long have they been a qualified florist?

Do they have any references or photos of their work to show you.

10) Make sure that you check that the flowers you are wanting are available at the time of your wedding.
